When Labib Demian Youssef opened LDY CO in Cairo in 1962, Egypt's analytical-instruments market was barely a few brands deep. He bet on relationships with the world's most exacting manufacturers and on a service ethic that outlasted any single sale.
Six decades later, the company is in its second generation. The roster of authorized brands has grown to nine. The Cairo office anchors a regional practice that reaches across Egypt and the GCC, with a Dubai office added in 2023.
